Compatibility Check
To confirm whether your car uses Amundsen (RNS310) or Amundsen+ (RNS315):

Press and hold the SETUP button for about 10 seconds.

Select Versions on screen.
👉 RNS310 (not compatible): only 3 information lines (Part number / Software version / Hardware version).
👉 RNS315 (compatible): 5 information lines (includes Navigation data: part number & version).

Important Notes

Each SD card can only be used in one car. Once installed, it locks to that system permanently.

Keep the original SD card in case you need it in the future.

Update time: up to 2 hours. Always keep the engine running or connect to a power supply during installation.
Installation Instructions

Insert the SD card into the navigation slot.

When prompted, press Assign, then select Install.

Installation may take up to 2 hours. The process will automatically resume if the engine is turned off and restarted.

Once complete, you will either see a confirmation prompt or a screen showing “Installed files v12” / “Files on SD card v12.”

At this point, it is safe to remove the SD card.
