Seat (RNS315) SD Card – Europe Map Update 2020 v12
Latest genuine SD card map update for Seat Media System 2.1 / 2.2 (RNS315).
⚠️ Not compatible with Seat RNS310 (Media System 2.0), MIB1 AT, or MIB2 AS units.
Also works with VW and Skoda RNS315 systems. Includes a 12-month warranty.
Compatibility Check
To determine whether your system is RNS310 or RNS315:

Press and hold the SETUP button for ~10 seconds.

Select Versions on screen.
👉 If your system shows 3 information lines (Part number / Software version / Hardware version), it is RNS310 (not compatible).
👉 If your system shows 5 information lines (including Navigation data), it is RNS315 (compatible).

Important Notes

Each SD card can only be activated in one vehicle. Once installed, it locks to your car and cannot be reused in another.

Update time: up to 2 hours. Ensure the engine is running or connect to a stable power supply.
Installation Guide

Insert the SD card into the navigation slot.

When prompted, press Assign → then choose Install.

The upload may take up to 2 hours. The process will resume automatically if the engine is switched off and restarted.

Once complete, you’ll see either a prompt confirming installation, or a screen showing “Installed files v12” / “Files on SD card v12.”

At this point, it’s safe to remove the SD card. Keep the original card, as it remains locked to your system.
