Simply remove your old disc and insert the new one. The firmware will auto-update within minutes, giving you the latest map and POI database.
Please Note:

Units that have never been updated and start with a globe and satellites boot screen require a system software update first.

Units starting with a NISSAN boot screen do not require the software update.
