Upgrade your BMW or Mini Cooper’s navigation system with the latest 2024 map update for CIC Motion units. This update enhances your driving experience with new roads, updated points of interest, and improved routing across the UK and Europe.
🔍 Check Your Current Map Version
To verify your current map version:

Press the NAV button.

Press the OPTION button on your iDrive controller.

Scroll to Navigation System Version – it should display something like:
“Road Map Europe MOTION 2015-1”
📌 Important: Your current map must include the letter “i” (e.g., MOTION 2014-i) to update via USB. If not, only DVD-based updates will work.

Keep the engine running or drive the car during the update (may take up to 2 hours).
